Rainy Season came early in Jaco Costa Rica

Normally year after year, we start seeing our first rains by the end of May or early June. But this year, mother nature gave us an unexpected gift and brought the rains a lot earlier in the year. The first rain showers were in late March to early April, and a few of the times, it was a full-blown tropical storm, those like we see in October, our heart of the rainy season.
More Rain, the Better?
Depending on who you are, you might have a different opinion on which season you like more. Rainy season the climate isn’t as hot or humid, the ground and scenery are lush and green, and the dirt roads aren’t dusty. While in the Dry season, the skies are blue, and the sun is hot all day long, the scenery is browner and burnt looking, and those dirt roads turn into dusty mayhem when trying to travel them behind a few vehicles.
Cheaper Pricing
Did you know that there are different pricing across the country depending on the season? Most classify it as green season rates and high season rates, and finally, some even have a third peak season rate.
