If you are looking for a nice and calm beach house, this would be the place! Beautiful black sand beach which massive waves! Lots of surfers out there! Definitely not a beach for little kids or people trying to play in the ocean. Pool is beautiful and the views from upstairs are great as well. Lots of parrots flying around and other wildlife. There are many restaurants about a mile away and you are about 4 miles from downtown Jaco if you are looking for night life. Overall very awesome!

We enjoyed our stay! Karolina was responsive and helpful. She gave us local recommendations for dinner and she was helpful when we lost power (briefly) due to a local earthquake.The home is not walkable to stores, so having a car is recommended. The area does offer UBER so that is also an option for trips into Jaco, about a 8-10 min drive from the house. The area is quite and convenient for daily surfing.We were a group of 5 and we had plenty of space. The home was perfect for our us, our kids, and the parents. Our three generations especially enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The location across from the beach was perfect for watching sunsets. We cooked all of our meals using the kitchen. It is well-stocked with great counter space for food preparation. The only downside to our trip was a 2-day surf competition that took place directly in front of the house. The announcer and music started at 6:00am and didn't turn off until sunset. I can’t say enough about the home and its many amenities. We loved the pool and hot tub, the incredible communication with our hosts to make our stay even better, and everything you need in a kitchen to be able to prepare food at the home! Beds were super comfortable and plenty of extra towels and daily comfort items were well stocked. Chadwick’s place was great! We loved being across from the beach. The house is only a short drive from restaurants and bars. The pool and yard are a tropical paradise. We watched the birds and iguanas. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans ect. The house was spacious and comfortable. This property is absolutely gorgeous! It was perfect for a family getaway. The beach is beautiful. Wonderful walks on the beach and a few good days of surf. The recommendations provided were spot on. We indulged with a private chef one night, which I highly recommend. A very quiet area that was also close enough to drive to great restaurants and shopping in Jaco. The pool was such a fun place to hang out with the sounds of waves crashing all day. The top deck made for a beautiful place to have coffee in the morning and watch the surf. The four of us really enjoyed our stay at Chadwick's place. It had great views of the nearby ocean and sunsets from the expansive upstairs balcony which was a great place to have a drink or eat a meal. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all. It was very much appreciated that there was air conditioning (although we used just the ceiling fan when sleeping since it was quieter), and a washer and dryer. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked several meals there. The location was well-situated between Manuel Antonio and Carara National Parks, and there were plenty of nearby restaurants on the beach. There were several dozen species of birds in the nearby trees as an added treat. The beach was very close.My only complaint was that there was a surfing contest going on right in front of the rental, which was interesting, but they started early at 6:15 a.m. on the weekend, with very loud speakers. The pool and location right on the beach can’t be beat. The house itself feels like a party house for 20-something’s, but it was well cleaned and the kitchen was well stocked with what you’ll need. Hosts were responsive when we contacted them. The sunsets here are incredible.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was a dream. Playa Hermosa is quant and beautiful. The beach is stunning and there are restaurants near by. But, it’s also a short drive to Jacó, where there is a large selection of restaurant and drink options. We also booked excursions through C.R. elite. We have been this house when under previous ownership and it never fails to provide a great experience. The opportunity to come and go as we please with little kids is a plus. Casa mil bienvenidas was an amazing experience! The house, pool, and jacuzzi were wonderful! We needed help with a jacuzzi problem and they had someone there to fix it in 20 minutes. They helped me plan activities and arrange transportation. We had iguanas and macaws that visited daily! The beach was beautiful, but yes a surfer’s beach which was great to watch! This was an amazing house ! The views are amazing as you are literally across the beach. Great sounds of the wave at all times. Area is amazing and only 10 minute drive to Jaco beach. The host was great with communication. They replied very quick to all my questions etc. The pool is amazing and safe area and private for you and your guest. The rooftop deck is breathtaking the views I can’t get enough off. The beach isn’t really for swimming but for surfing but it did not stop me from going to the beach . Great house with the highlights being the roof top deck and the pool/hot tub. The roof deck was great rain or shine. I would suggest bringing beach chairs if you want to watch the sunset on the beach. I also suggest Jaco for swimming as the beach in front is quite rough. The kitchen was well equipped. Great place, great location, and a great time. Beautiful place to stay at and about 20 feet away from a black sand beach which is (majority of the time) empty of people which gives the private beach feel which was very relaxing. This stay was amazing. Loved the space, the views, and the pool. The home was spacious and comfortable and loved the top deck!! Ubers were very accesible and Jaco was not far at all! The view drinking coffee was incredible and we loved the pool and hot tub. Perfect place!
