Have you ever wondered what it is like to float on top of the water? To glide almost effortlessly through the inviting waves of Jaco Costa Rica? We have the adventure for you! Surfing! Allow our skilled surf instructors to teach you what it feels like to walk on water virtually. Your instructor will teach you how to paddle, stand up, and ride the wave before you even get in the water so that you will be prepared. They will be there with you for your entire lesson, telling you when to paddle, giving you a little push, and letting you know when to stand up. By the end of the lesson, you will know what to do and when to do it all independently. All you need to do is check the Jaco surf report, bring your swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and sense of adventure. Surfing Jaco in the warm waters will become an addiction you won’t be able to shake. Surfing in Jaco
I was getting married and we planned an all-girls trip to Jaco Costa Rica instead of a bachelorette party. As a group of 8, we have always talked about learning to surf but being from Canada, the water is always freezing and uninviting. When we felt the waters of Jaco beach we all thought that surfing would be our first adventure here. We booked our surf lessons for the next day. The booking agent was great in getting us set up right away. The instructor picked us up at our hotel, he was lovely and right on time (even though we weren’t). He drove us to one of the most popular Costa Rica surf spots, where the surfboards were already waiting for us, waxed and ready to go. We were all so excited as the much-anticipated surf session had finally arrived.
The instructors taught us how to paddle and “pop-up” while we were in the sand. We branched off into groups of two and we were on our way. I don’t even have the words to explain the feeling of the first time I rode the wave. Everyone cheered and I was instantly addicted. We immediately booked a second lesson and it was totally worth every penny. We can’t say enough fabulous things about the instructors and the booking agent. They all made it so easy to learn how to surf, and my bridal party had the adventure of a lifetime. We won’t be surfing in Canada anytime soon because nothing compares to surfing the warm water of Jaco beach in just a bikini but I will be an addict for life. I am already asking my husband for a second honeymoon to Jaco Costa Rica so he can learn to surf with the same instructors we had.
